Authorize your Application to connect with Amazon Data Portability API

Communication between your Application and the Amazon Data Portability API is secured using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2) and OAuth2 based authorization enabled that will require a valid access token as part of any request.

Before you proceed, make sure you complete the instructions in the Configure the Amazon Data Portability service.

In this section, you will learn how to generate an LWA access token and then retrieve new access and refresh tokens. You will use the token to authorize your Application to connect with Amazon Data Portability API.
