Altered Device State Policy
Amazon does not permit apps that override or alter the native device OS or user experience (e.g., lockscreens, widgets, launchers, floating windows, or other on-screen or in-app elements that impact the native user interface). We permit overlay widgets or picture-in-picture windows if they are unobtrusive, integral to the app, and do not further alter the device.
Note: Picture in Picture windows feature functionality is now offered in Fire OS7 and above. Developers no longer have to build an independent PIP feature for Fire OS based on Android 9 and above.
Device and System Abuse
We prohibit apps that interfere with users' devices, our services, or other servers, networks, or third-party apps. For example, apps that interfere with or block another third party app from displaying ads are not permitted.
