- Your skill must meet the skill requirements for WWA certification.
- Your device must support the required interfaces specified for your device category. For details, see Requirements for Specific Device Types.
- If your skill-enabled product also connects to Alexa over a local connection, such as Matter, your product must meet the local connection requirements for WWA certification.

- If your product has Alexa built-in, your device must support the required interfaces specified for your device category. For details, see Requirements for Specific Device Types.
- If your device connects to an Amazon Echo device by using Matter or other local connectivity protocols, your product must meet the local connection requirements for WWA certification. These requirements apply to skill-enabled devices and ACK devices that also support local connectivity protocols.
- If you intend to sell your product on the Amazon retail website, or you want to let customers know that your product works with Alexa, you can apply for the WWA badge. To receive the badge, your product must meet the badge requirements for WWA certification.
